OVERVIEW A Complex Shiraz with great cellaring potential that is a perfect showcase of premium fruit and modern biodynamic winemaking.
COLOUR Full depth crimson with vibrant purple hues.
AROMA A heady mix of blueberry, liquorice with vanilla, cinnamon and cedar notes.
TASTE Soct dark berry and plum flavours are complemented by star anise, oak complexity and supple tannins.
ENJOY WITH Free-range crispy skin duck breast with poached figs and organic vegetables or Field Mushroom Risotto.
IDEAL DRINKING WINDOW 2017-2024
VINEYARDS Premium fruit handpicked from old vines in a McLaren Vale vineyard that has been certified biodynamic according to strict international standards.
VINTAGE CONDITIONS Conditions challenged and yields were low, however this premium fruit showed great flavour and intensity.
WINEMAKING The wine spent 11 days on skins in a small open concrete fermenter. It was then basket pressed by the phases of the moon as per biodynamic principles. Aged for 23 months in oak hogsheads before bottling.
